Light Drawings with a Film Camera in the 1970s

In the late 70's - Eric Staller created some stunning photographs using long exposures with his Nikon 35mm film camera, aided only with sparklers, Christmas lights and camera mounted to a tripod.

Light painting is a photographic technique in which the lens is left open for several minutes while mounted at a fixed point and moving a light source through the frame to create effects.
